The whole situation is very sudden and somewhat mysterious, again, raising questions about what actually happened. We've yet to see replies to any of these questions. This vague statement has got already angry fans even more infuriated and asking questions such as "Why not go back to KickStarter or find another publisher?" and "what does this mean? Do Team 17 own Allison Road now? Was there a disagreement? Did they try to have more input than you liked?" We'd like to especially thank everyone for their support through-out, it has and will always be appreciated." "Sometime things pan out differently than expected as game development and publishing have so many layers of complexity. "After a long consideration between Team17 and ourselves, we have reached a mutual agreement to end our collaboration on publishing Allison Road under Team17's Games label," the developer said. It was expected that the statement would come from their now-former publishing partner, Team 17, but the post on Facebook comes direct from Lilith, and reveals absolutely nothing. We have now had a statement from Lilith, although it has raised more questions than it has answered. Earlier this month developer Lilith suddenly announced that they would be dropping the highly anticipated P.T.-inspired horror title, Allison Road, but gave no explanation as to why.
